  • Information Needed in Hit and Run Incident

    (HEBER, Utah) – On Saturday, July 20 at Deer Creek State Park around 6:30 p.m., a spear fishing diver was hit by a personal watercraft (PWC) and knocked unconscious. A diving flag was displayed and a second diver was serving as a lookout when the incident occurred along the east shoreline south of the Island boat ramp. The PWC operator went to get help, but never returned. Utah State Parks rangers are asking for the public’s help regarding the incident.
