He was raised in Fillmore and moved to Cedar City after graduating from Millard High School in 1999 where he is remembered for his talents as a champion all-state wrestler and defensive end in football as well as being a great practical joker and friend. He joined the Utah National Guard in 1997 and served four years with the A Battery 1st -145. He was an expert marksman in the military which came in handy every hunting season as he was often successful on the big elk and deer hunts.
In February 2000, Will met the love of his life, Michelle, and they were married in a beautiful ceremony up Cedar Mountain on August 24, 2001. They have three wonderful children: Damen (11 yrs), Wade (8 yrs) and Shelby (2 yrs) who already miss their Dad more than ever imagined. Will is remembered by family and friends as one who had a heart of gold. He would do anything for a friend or family and was a loving, kind father to his wife and children. He enjoyed the outdoors and time spent fishing, hunting, camping and 4-wheeling with those he loved. He had a great sense of humor and was always teasing those closest to him. We miss him so much.
Will is survived by his wife, Michelle, and their 3 children; his parents Dennis and Pamella Brunson and Michelle’s parents, Lynne (Harry) Brown, Larry (Marty) Finton; brothers Richard (Marci), Jason (Melinda), Brett; sisters Denice (Jeremy) Smith and Marie (Adam) Remkes; grandmother Mildred Harding; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased and greeted in Heaven by his Grandpa Frank Harding, grandparents Elwin and Venita Brunson, aunt Rebecca Brunson and two uncles, Art Harding and Clyde Harding. We love you Will!
