    July 9 – 11 Antelope Island State Park - Syracuse

    Summer Camp: Kids ages nine to 13 are invited to immerse themselves in the wonders of Antelope Island and Great Salt Lake. Each day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., campers learn about wildlife, salt, brine shrimp and brine flies. Part of the journey will be an exploration of the beaches by canoe. Participants can sign up for one day or all three. Cost is $25 per day and includes entrance into the park, supplies and lunch. Space is limited and registration is required. 801-721-9569

    July 12 Antelope Island State Park

    Kayak Tour: Birds of Great Salt Lake. Join us for a morning kayak tour beginning at 9 a.m., and discover some of the wonders of this amazing lake. Space is limited and registration is required.     July 12 Yuba State Park- Levan

    Sandcastle Building Competition: Join us beginning at noon, and put your artistic sandcastle building skills to the test. Prizes are awarded for the top five sandcastles in both individual and team categories. Registration begins at noon, building starts at 1 p.m. at the north beach. Cost is $5 per individual or $10 per team. Park entrance fees apply. 435-758-2611

    July 13 Jordanelle State Park- Heber - hosts Fire On The Water Saturday, July 13 from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Enjoy an evening of live music, food and drinks with a Parade of Lights at dusk and fireworks at 10 p.m.

    Entrance fees are $15 per vehicle with up to eight occupants. Annual passes will be honored, and registered campers are admitted at no additional cost. Jordanelle State Park is located off US 40 at Mayflower Exit 8. For more information, please call 435-649-9540 or visit stateparks.utah.gov.
