(ST. GEORGE, Utah) - The Washington County School District board just announced the selection of Steve Gregoire as the Principal of Fossil Ridge Intermediate School. Steve is currently the Principal of Heritage Elementary and will replace Bob Sonju who was recently promoted to the Director of K-12 Student Learning.

Steve grew up in Grand Forks, North Dakota where he graduated from the University of North Dakota. He graduated from Northern Arizona University with his Master Degree in Educational Leadership.

Steve started his teaching career in Apache Junction, Arizona and taught 6th and 7th grades for 5 years. During his time in Arizona he married Rebecca and they have four children. These four children keep them busy with many activities and much laughter.

In 2000 they moved to Utah and Steve began working at Bloomington Hills Elementary as a 5th grade teacher. Steve taught fifth grade for four years and then was fortunate enough to become Principal of Bloomington Hills Elementary. Four years ago Steve moved to Heritage Elementary, and has loved every minute of his time in the elementary schools. He will miss the students, faculty and parents at Heritage.
